Kathryn completed her articles at Arthur Robinson & Hedderwicks, then was Associate to the Honourable Justice John Toohey at the High Court of Australia. Since coming to the Bar, her principal areas of practice are Equity & Trusts, Wills & Probate, Property, Commercial and Administrative Law, mainly in the Supreme and Federal Courts.
