Susan was admitted to practice in 1985 having spent her articles with Oakley Thompson in their Melbourne office.

Post articles Susan worked with a number of firms including Septimus Jones and Lee, and Marshalls and Dent where she practised in general and commercial litigation.

Susan signed the Bar Roll in 1994 and now practises primarily in the Family Court whilst maintaining an interest in estate and commercial work.
