Prior to coming to the Bar Justin spent 8 years with Richmond & Bennison. His practice was broad but largely focused on commercial and personal injury litigation. He also gained experience in areas such as trusts, leases, employment, criminal law, building disputes, defamation, administrative law and general(non personal injury) common law.

Since coming to the Bar Justin has maintained a broad practice. He has appeared in a diverse range of matters which include building disputes, criminal matters, personal injury and substantial commercial litigation. He has appeared in courts from the Magistrates' Court to the Supreme and Federal Courts and in the VCAT.

Justin has been a volunteer at a Community Legal Centre since 1994 and is a Legal Officer in the Royal Australian Naval Reserve.
