  • Since signing the Bar Roll in November 2000 Loula has enjoyed extensive advocacy experience in both State and Federal Courts. She has a sound family law practice appearing regularly in the Family Court in both property and children's matters and in defacto property matters in the County Court.

    Loula has also developed her criminal law practice appearing regularly in pleas and contested criminal matters in the Magistrates' Court including Crimes Family Violence applications and appeals therefrom to the County Court. She has experience in the Criminal Jurisdiction of the Children's Court in pleas and contested hearings and in the Family Jurisdiction of the Children's Court in contested protection applications.

    Loula also appears in civil and commercial matters in the Magistrates, County and Supreme courts.

    Before coming to the Bar Loula worked as a solicitor in general practice with an emphasis on family, criminal, civil and commercial matters.

    Whilst undertaking the Leo Cussen Practical Training Course Loula was President of the Leo Cussen Student Association. Prior to completing the Leo Cussen Practical Training Course Loula obtained the Bachelor of Laws, the Postgraduate Diploma in Arts, the Graduate Diploma in Criminology and the Bachelor of Arts (Legal Studies major).
