  • Nik is available to advise or appear in a range of civil and criminal matters across all state and federal jurisdictions. His principal areas of practice are corporate, commercial, property (including town planning and environmental law) and administrative law.

    Nik also specialises in federal anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing legislation. He is able to advise on compliance and enforcement issues and is available to appear in proceedings brought under the relevant legislation.

    Before coming to the Bar, Nik was a solicitor with the Financial Services Group of Blake Dawson Waldron where he advised individual, corporate and government clients on a range of commercial issues, specialising in complex property and finance transactions.

    In addition to his practice at the Bar, Nik serves as a Legal Officer in the Army Reserve. He provides administrative and discipline law advice to military commanders and individual members, and appears before a range of military tribunals and decision-making bodies.

    Nik has previously been a member of the Board of Governance of the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria and a volunteer with Youthlaw (Young Peoples' Legal Rights Centre).
