  • Ingrid's interests are broad and range from administrative law, merits and judicial review, to criminal and commercial law. Additionally Ingrid has a strong interest in alternate dispute resolution and has undertaken training in mediation.

    Before coming to the Bar, Ingrid was the Manager of Information and Privacy at the Victorian Department of Justice. Responsible for managing a team of FOI decision makers Ingrid's role included co-ordination of FOI and Privacy across the Department including Corrections Victoria, advising senior management and stakeholders on FOI and Privacy matters and providing advice on all aspects of the legislative and practical operation of FOI and Privacy. Ingrid has also presented on FOI at the Leo Cussen Institute.

    During 2003-2004, Ingrid worked as a Legal and Legislation Officer in the Legal Branch of the Department of Infrastructure where she was involved in a broad range of administrative law matters including merits and judicial review.

    Before returning to university to study law, Ingrid worked in the visual arts in both Melbourne and Sydney. During this period she gained a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Melbourne (Victorian College of the Arts) and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts (With Distinction) from RMIT University.

    Ingrid also has extensive commercial experience, having been the proprietor of a successful Sydney manufacturing company providing services to the art industry.
