Before coming to the bar, Patrick was a senior associate in the commercial disputes section at Minter Ellison, having commenced with the firm as an articled clerk in 2001. While at Minters, he gained extensive experience in commercial matters in the Supreme, Federal, County and Magistrates’ Courts and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

In addition to a broad range of commercial, contractual and trade practices matters, Patrick has acted in copyright matters (primarily regarding computer software) and several administrative law proceedings.
