  • Steve was admitted to practice in Victoria in 1999. At Maddock Lonie & Chisholm he practised in the area of building control, focusing on offences under the Building Act and inquiries regarding building practitioner registration. He is currently a director of an internet start up company focusing on regulatory compliance and legal solutions pertaining to the residential building industry. Steve spent five years working with compensation programs for holocaust survivors. This work was based in Geneva, Switzerland and required extensive travel throughout Eastern and Central Europe to monitor assistance and to meet with survivors of Nazi persecution. Prior to studying law Steve was a primary school teacher and lecturer in Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory.

    Steve’s areas of practice and interest include Criminal Law, Building and Construction, Commercial Law, Human Rights, Children’s Court, Racing and Sports Law, Media and Entertainment, Animal Welfare and Magistrates’ Court (civil and criminal) work.
