Prior to signing the bar roll in May 2008, Anne-Louise practised in the area of criminal law for eighteen years both as a defence solicitor and a Commonwealth prosecutor.Whilst working in the criminal law division of VLA she acted on behalf of defendant's charged with serious criminal offences and instructed counsel in their trials in the County Court and Supreme Court. At the Commonwealth DPP, Anne-Louise appeared as Counsel in both summary and indictable jurisdictions as well as preparing matters for court and writing submissions on appropriate charges and the relevant law.
Whilst her experience is in crime, Anne-Louise is interested in expanding her practice to include family law and commercial law, particularly as regards the latter, in the area of defamation.
Whilst completing an Arts/Law degree at Melbourne University, Anne-Louise achieved a first class honours degree in Fine Arts.
