Rebecca Davern was admitted to practice in 1997 in Victoria, 2002 in Hong Kong and 2003 in England & Wales. She signed the Bar Roll in 2008.
Rebecca has experience in a diverse range of commercial, corporations, administrative and public law proceedings, with particular expertise in employment, discrimination and human rights matters. Rebecca also has experience in international arbitrations and litigation in Asia and England.
Prior to coming to the bar, Rebecca completed her articles and then practiced as a solicitor at Arthur Robinson and Hedderwicks (as the firm was then known) primarily in Commercial Litigation before practicing as a Senior Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hong Kong. On return to Australia, Rebecca practiced as Special Counsel in the Commercial Litigation department at Allens Arthur Robinson, handling litigation in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Federal Court and Federal Magistrates Court.
