Dane has an Honours Degree in Law from Monash University and was previously a solicitor at a top-tier legal firm in Melbourne where he worked both in Corporate Law and Commercial Litigation.

Further, Dane has worked in the International Operations section of one of Australia's largest banks and was both a director and senior manager with some of the worlds largest hospitality groups.

Upon being called to the Bar, Dane read with Ian Martindale S.C. and his senior mentor was Nemeer Mukhtar Q.C. (now Associate Justice).

Dane is experienced in commercial and corporate litigation and has handled a broad range of complex litigation matters across various jurisdictions. Given his business background, Dane understands the commercial drivers and imperatives in any business transaction or related litigation and works to achieve the client's objectives effectively and efficiently.

Additionally, Dane has given seminars to legal practitioners on advising company directors and published articles with respect to certain aspects of the law pertaining to the internet.

Dane is a Nationally Accredited Mediator and a member of the Commercial Bar Association.
