Direct access briefing
Until recently, in most situations only solicitors in private practice could brief barristers.
That has changed. It is now much easier for corporate counsel, other professionals and even lay clients themselves to retain barristers direct. And this applies to both litigious and non-litigious matters.
Many cases will still benefit from the involvement of a solicitor but some won’t.
Call our clerks to discuss whether your matter is suitable for a direct brief to a Gordon & Jackson barrister.
