01 July, 2011 - Judicial Appointments
Congratulations to Rod Randall and Richard Smith SC on their recent judicial appointments. Rod Randall has been appointed as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court and Richard Smith SC has been appointed as a judge of the County Court.
We wish them every success in their judicial careers.

22 June, 2011 - Gordon & Jackson teams participate in the Global Corporate Challenge
Eight List members, Tom Danos, Alex Golding, Damien Lockie, Anne Sheehan, Marie Wilkening-Le Brun, Rudi Cohrssen, Andrew Freadman, Peter Fox, with Ged Smith and Ross Gordon from the Clerks office, are participating in the Global Corporate Challenge. The Challenge involves teams of seven who, over 16 weeks, record their daily step count, bicycle and swimming distances. The steps are added up and the team's progression plotted along a virtual tour of the world.
The aim is to become more active, healthier and more productive. Participants are also encouraged to look at their eating habits. We keep you informed with our progress.

20th May 2011 We warmly welcome our new Readers, Andrew Freadman and Karen J Le Faucheur(nee Grima) who signed the Bar Roll on 19th May 2011 and are available to take briefs.
Andrew Freadman BA, LLB(Monash), Master Tax(UNSW) will practise in the areas of Taxation, Corporations, Managed Investments & Securities, Competition & Consumer Law, Superannuation and Litigation.
Karen J Le Faucheur(nee Grima) will practise in the areas of Alternative Dispute Resolution/Mediation, Commercial Law, Defamation, Media and Entertainment, Energy & Resources, Environment, Equity/Trusts, Sports Law, Torts and Trade Practices.

20 April, 2011 - Congratulations to Julian Snow - World Champion
Julian Snow, pictured below, was a member of the Australian team which won the amateur international Real (Royal) Tennis tournament at the New York Tennis & Racquet Club Recently.
Australian won the Bathurst Cup, beating the USA and UK to the title.
Julian practices as a generalist at the Bar.
